Dinosaur Ridge is an outdoor dinosaur and geology museum 20 minutes west of Denver near Morrison, Colorado. The site features a world-famous dinosaur tracksite with more than 300 dinosaur footprints for you and your friends and family to explore.

They were made during the Cretaceous Period (100 million years ago) and are still right where the dinosaurs left them, though the environment has changed a bit. Further along the trail are a few dozen dinosaur bones dating back to the Jurassic Period (150 million years ago) from Stegosaurus, the Colorado State Fossil, Apatosaurus (formerly known as Brontosaurus), and Allosaurus, the meat-eating dinosaur. Come explore our fossils with your friends and family! We're the best outdoor museum in Colorado!
